This Luna Moth suncatcher is the second piece I made when I was learning in 1996 and my first original design. There is a pattern for a panel I call "Lunatic" rattling about in my brain. It will be a Luna Moth flying toward the full moon in the night sky. |

I made this panel for my sister Mary for Christmas in 1997. The unicorn design came from a purchased pattern book and I designed the rest of the panel around it. After she died, I gave it to my favorite aunt who loved my sister very much. After her death the panel made its way back to me. This image was also scanned from a printed photo but I will be replacing it soon. |

I made this panel for my Mother for Christmas in 1997. She loved Peace Roses. During World War II her sister had a Peace Rose and furnished roses for many weddings, including Mom and Dad's. The rose design came from a purchased pattern book and I designed the rest of the panel around it. |

Another Christmas 1997 gift which I made for my sister Kris. The iris blossom is a detail from an art deco window. I designed the rest of the panel around it. The glass I used for the border pieces has become one of my favorites for borders. |

This is my first totally original stained glass panel. This is an image scanned from a printed photo so the image quality is not very good. The piece was on display for sale at Gallery Eleven until the fishing line I'd used to hang it broke. Lesson learned, I now use nothing but metal chain to hang panels. I have not done the repairs but I will take a digital photo soon and replace this image. |

My son asked for a coyote and a snake so I made him this panel. I will be taking a better photo without flash reflections that doesn't cut off the right border. |

An oval hummingbird panel I made for Mom. Both the roses and the hummingbird hung in her dining room until she died, then I gave them to my sister Kris. |

This panel was for my cousin's daughter. Her name is Tuuli, which means wind in Finnish, so I wanted to create a wind spirit for her using brown tones (brown is her favorite color). |

Another art deco iris which I made to take to my cousin Soili in Helsinki when we visited her in 2008. |

I made this panel last year for my niece who has two Basset Hounds. I used photos of the Bassets as a guide for the design. |

I am currently working on nine 17" X 17" panels for three side by side 17" by 54 " windows in the the Ladies & Friends Bible Class Room at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in memory of my friend and mentor who taught the class for many years. I will not be posting the images until the panels are complete and installed sometime late this summer or early this fall (2010). |
