I'm Rita, the madwoman who lives on Mad Woman Run, and this is my page.

The name has not showed up on maps since the early 1900s.  We have no idea how the creek got its name.  Mad Anne Bailey did ride through here during the Revolutionary War and I like to think that our creek is named for her.

One of my hobbies is working in stained glass.  The water lily piece is the first totally original panel design.  I am still learning how to take good digital photos of the glass and will replace the images as I become a better photographer.
Our home away from home is at Silver Creek.  We ski there several times a year and rent our condo through the Snowshoe rental program during ski season when we're not using it.

My friend Dave and I are the webmasters.  We are available for web design projects working through http://www.non-cents.com/arts/arts.html.  Here is an example of Dave's work:  http://www.non-cents.com/cgt/

Dave is also a stained glass artist.  He and his sister taught me my craft.

Dave, another friend and I also have a small business, Professional Medical Systems.
When it was time to replace my husband's 12 year old S10 pickup truck he hatched a plan to take delivery on a Volvo in Sweden and drive around Sweden and Finland.  It turned out that the package (Volvo S40, airfare and from Gothenburg, the first and last night's hotel and shipping to the US) from University Volvo in Charlotte, North Carolina, cost less than we could buy the same car here in West Virginia.

I put pictures of Chuck's Volvo here so that he could share them with his friends on Swede Speed forum for Volvo enthusiasts.
